Hi, my name is Ana Ramsey, the author of this blog and I\u2019m going to talk about the differences between RGB and CMYK color schemes. Let\u2019s get started!<\/p>\n
CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key, which means black. Unlike RGB, CMYK uses four colors that are known as subtractive colors. In this color scheme, the more colors that are mixed together will make the colors that are being produced even darker. However, this application isn\u2019t used much in home computers but is mainly used by professional printing companies.<\/p>\n
RGB is completely different from CMYK. This color scheme uses three additive colors, red, green and blue. It is usually paired with computer monitors and other screens as well as LED TVs, Photoshop and most photo-editing systems. RGB is known as the standard color mode for most applications. RGB creates other colors by adding or incorporating different types of red, green and blue.<\/p>\n
